Everything announced at today’s PlayStation 5 showcase
Final Fantasy XVI announced
Sorry if I butcher this for all the FF fans. The PlayStation 5 exclusive announced with a trailer that looks very action-heavy. Final Fantasy XVI exclusive opens up with epic battles against the eldritch horrors.
Spider-Man Miles Morales – Gameplay
Trouble is brewing, true to current events, at a political rally, the Tinkerer strikes. In an epic battle against the Tinkerers forces. I am not even sure who the Tinkerer is, but the gameplay looks good. The holiday release date is an excellent opportunity to see what the PlayStation 5 has to offer.
Hogwarts: Legacy announced
This RPG is the best-kept secret from PlayStation; I honestly didn’t know this was a thing. Set in the 1800s, allowing you to unlock magic powers, meet friends, battle trolls, and take on the proto death eaters. The game is set for release in 2021, with no definite date as yet.
New trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
High octane filled with a CGI Ronald Reagan, does a game need anything else?. Yes – but for fans of the Black Ops franchise will enjoy this.
Resident Evil Village: Creepy forests
Eastern Europe is a scary place; adding some supernatural and zombies only makes it worse. The trailer begins with the narration from an older woman. Old age scares me more than zombies.
Deathloops newest trailer
The 60’s James Bond vibes in the trailer are strong. I am not sure if that means much to anyone but look at the pre-Pierce Brosman James Bond movies to understand. This game has a lot to do with time loops, confusing to a layman like me. The game set for release in Q2 2021 as a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
Devil May Cry 5 gets a special edition on PlayStation 5
The special edition lets you take Dante’s reigns, who sat out most of the original game. The footage mostly shows Dantes moves in the game. Available at the launch of the PlayStation 5.
Oddworld looks excellent on the power of the next-gen, abe is back and looking better than ever.
Demon Souls: Remastered
I never got into this series since I don’t like losing and rage quitting. But I know many fans are eager for this; the remaster looks very shiny in HD. Large trolls, dragons, and whatever else the world throws at you – of course, at the end you die, that’s Demon Souls for you.
Ragnarok is coming in 2021
Boy. God Of War is back, and this time we see the Viking end of days; I am assuming this means Kratos will kill all the nordic gods. “You must prepare yourself,” the narrator says, and that’s all we get.
That is all for the PlayStation 5 showcase, we have our price and release date, but also, they have given us a list of games coming to PlayStation plus from the previous gen. Did you enjoy the event? Did you want to see something else talking about? Let me know in the comments below.
