Hi there fellow gamers, as the month’s roll, so does the cluster fudge that is 2020. In the apocalypse bingo in September, we had a mass of whales on Australia’s shores, and scuffles erupted between Armenia and Azerbaijan. But in good news, we will have some awesome game releases in October to look forward to, if the world doesn’t end. I am going to discuss the games I care about, so sorry if I miss a game – insult me in the comments below if I got it wrong.
Maria has turned 35, four years older than me and dozens upon dozens of iterations. The Italian plumber is still klling it, with this anniversary release. Verse thirty five other players as the enemies you kill get transferred over to them, pace yourself in different ways to beat your competition.
Do you have a fear of space and get motion sickness, then this game is for you!. Set after the battle of Endor. This single-player VR game puts you as a pilot in the Star Wars universe. If you dont get motion sickness and have a fondness for Star Wars, then this is the game for you. But if you are like me and terrified of space and easily messed up by being flipped upside down, then avoid this at all costs.
A small but fun looking game, Foregone is a good focus for the October game releases. Set ina fantasy world devastated by war controlled by an all-controlling evil. This action-packed platformer is a good pallet cleanser and button masher to keep you entertained.
I haven’t played the first of this, but I do hear good things, not creaking of floorboards or the heavy breathing of a monster, just good things. This survival horror game based in an all-girls boarding school (teenage boys fantasy). Having seen some of the terrors has confirmed that I won’t be playing this. I am a sissy dude who hates being scared. I would rather play Little Big Workshop.
This under rater series from Ubisoft has been one of my favorites since it came out. I found the combat crisp and gameplay loops a bit more interesting than that of GTA V. From a broad array of characters to choose from, including football hooligan and construction worker, aka the stereotyped English people. Set in the UK amidst political turmoil and an authoritarian government, like we needed more political unrest!. The game is so English that you can catch the tube and even a black taxi. The October game release will feature a lethal and non-lethal array of weaponry.
That’s it for the October game releases. As the year comes to an end. In November, we will see the next generations come out. With Bethesda’s purchase by Microsoft and a reasonable price for the RTX 3070/3080, it is a very competitive race for gamer attention. If I missed anything, let me know in the comments below.
Hi there fellow gamers, I need to scratch an RPG itch – how can I scratch it without a PlayStation 5?. dig into the past and challenge myself with age-old questions. Which is the best Fallout game? Dragon Age Inquisition or its predecessors?, Warhammer or Rome total war?. Let’s start with the first one – […]
Hello there fellow gamers, Indiana Jones is back, back in an awkward story about crystal skulls, nope. As Indiana states in the Last Crusade, X Marks the spot – Indiana Jones is coming to the Xbox. This story’s twist is not that a busty German woman is working for the Nazis, but that this could […]
