Hi there fellow gamers. I woke up to a barrage of Cyberpunk memes. In this game, we saw one of our favorite developers try something new, and the problem is when you try something new, it doesn’t always work at the beginning, or ever. Cyberpunk 2077 – Why the hate.

What happened

What happened to this highly anticipated game, eight years in the making, from one of the most beloved developers of this decade. The game itself is not that bad; forgiving some of the flaws is fine – if you purchase it on a decent PC or newer gen consoles, you will have fun; unfortunately, the PS4 and Xbox one won’t be able to run it smoothly. The game is set in a Cyberpunk world with a constant flow of glitches kind of ads to the aesthetic. Truth be told, though, the strain of running Cyberpunk 2077 on my RTX 2060 almost fried it – I had a shit tonne of graphics issues after doing it.

Where do we go from here? CD Project Red is still a considerate company that cares about the gamers and their employees – should we forgive them? Hell yes. Anyone who has played the game knows that it will get better once the bugs and crashes are fixed. The storyline is good, and the characters are well fleshed out. I would have done my usual first three hours review, but I am trapped playing AC Valhalla. By the beard of Odin, I will finish it before transporting myself to the Cyberpunk 2077 world.

Conclusion

In conclusion, a lot of games have come out glitchy messes, even disappointments that have grown into well-regarded games. No Mans Sky as the best example. Even the Witcher 3 was an excellent looking mess when it first came out. Let’s give the devs a chance – after all, they were forced to by us and corporate to stamp the game’s approval.

Hi there fellow games. The Australian government does not endorse sexual assault, violence, addiction, crime and cruelty. Irony is irony, Disco […]
